Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide exceptional care and support to patients in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with occupational therapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in achieving their therapy goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by occupational therapists.
- Support patients in daily living activities and encourage independence.
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation processes.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- State licensure as required.
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred.
