Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a premier inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. This facility specializes in the intensive treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a loss of function due to various injuries and illnesses. The Physical Therapist will provide customized rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Implement therapy interventions aimed at maximizing health, function, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active California Physical Therapist license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Rehabilitation or Acute Care settings.
Schedule
This position is for the Day Shift from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, with an ideal schedule of Friday to Tuesday. There may also be weekend rotations every 2-3 weekends for other therapy disciplines.
