This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, working 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. The role includes delegating and directing discipline-specific therapy services to facilitate effective community reintegration. As an educator, the PT will provide guidance to patients, families, students, and peers while adhering to the organization’s Mission Statement and Core Values. A strong focus on patient and employee safety is expected throughout all responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans and goals based on clinical reasoning.
• Complete clear and accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing a supportive learning environment with appropriate supervision.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and self-directed growth.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure with required continuing education.
• Understand and contribute to the organization’s performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is necessary.
