Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in a variety of surgical specialties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general, ortho-total joint, neuro, gynecological/urological, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, providing postoperative care, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist in various surgical procedures and interventions.
Monitor patient’s condition pre, during, and post-surgery.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must possess an active Registered Nurse license in New York.
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred.
Phlebotomy and IV placement competency required.
