- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00)
- Weekends: Every other weekend
Job Description
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER setting, addressing a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments and develop nursing care plans for emergency patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and responses to emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active New York State RN license required.
- Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
