Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Rehabilitation team. This role involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. Our comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs are designed to enhance the health, function, and quality of life for our patients. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Deliver medication administration and medical care to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
- Monitor and assess patient progress, providing ongoing evaluations and implementing care plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the recovery process.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Schedule
This is a night shift position, working from 18:45 to 07:15, with an expectation of 36 guaranteed hours weekly. Weekend hours are required every other weekend.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
