Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for our Main Operating Room. The ideal candidate will provide critical care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires proficiency in various surgical procedures, collaboration with surgical teams, and adherence to stringent safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary circulating nurse for surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.
- Assist in all aspects of patient care during surgeries across various specialties excluding transplants.
- Manage surgical equipment and maintain necessary supplies, including the operation of the XI robot.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other surgical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in call rotations and weekend on-call as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Must have OR experience as a circulator in all service lines.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced surgical environment preferred.
