Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Must work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Neuro Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a team nursing environment, working closely with nursing staff, techs, and unit secretaries to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients with a typical ratio of 6-7 patients per nurse.
- Conduct hourly safety rounds and perform bedside shift reports with patients.
- Assist in the management of patient care alongside a supportive Charge Nurse.
- Participate in team nursing and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Float to like units as needed to support the nursing team and patient care needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must possess a valid RN license and be in good standing.
- Current BLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale certification is also required (can be obtained after hiring).
