Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend requirement.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a Level III NICU. You will work alongside an in-house Neonatologist, providing specialized care for neonates and infants. Your expertise will be critical in managing various conditions and supporting families during critical times.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to neonates, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Perform essential procedures such as IV placement, blood transfusions, and phototherapy.
- Support breastfeeding and handle breast milk appropriately.
- Educate families about neonatal care and support them through the treatment process.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during high-risk deliveries and patient care planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience.
- Valid BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Experience with charting in any system.
- Strong knowledge of neonatal care practices, including management of respiratory distress syndromes and sepsis.
