This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The standard work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There may be a requirement for one Saturday coverage per month if possible as part of the contract.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist in a freestanding 40 bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from stroke and other rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs aimed at improving patients' functional abilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Experience in acute rehabilitation preferred; however, strong applicants will also be considered.
