Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in psychiatric care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic psychiatric healthcare setting, focusing on individuals dealing with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and various psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications and provide interventions based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with families.
- Collaborate with external review organizations regarding patient care.
- Engage in crisis prevention and intervention when necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current unencumbered RN license from the state board of nursing.
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
- Availability to work flexible hours and potential overtime.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
