This is a night shift position from 19:00 to 07:00. Candidates must work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our emergency department is known for handling a diverse range of cases with a high acuity level.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Manage patient caseloads effectively, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
- Utilize EHR system (Paragon) for documentation and communication.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Experience with Peripheral IV, Stroke, SEPSIS, and STEMI is preferred.
- Must be able to effectively handle various patient populations.
