Registered Nurse - CTOR

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 4x9.5-Hour (06:30 - 16:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the CTOR department. The successful candidate will have experience in cardiovascular procedures and be adaptable to a variety of patient care scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to their needs during procedures.
• Assist in TAVRs, CABGs, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Windows, Valve Replacements, and Aortic Dissections.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to the Main OR as needed after 2:30 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on cardiovascular care.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
