Occupational Therapist

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs to guide individuals in improving their quality of life following injury, disease, or loss of a body part, with consideration to the patient’s gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement occupational therapy programs tailored to individual patient conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Schedule

This position operates on a Day Shift from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Location

Montana

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a professional course of education accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Montana.
• Amiable personality with sound judgment and the ability to maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients.
