This is a rotating schedule for 14-hour days, including weekends, from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing routine neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), and abdominal imaging, as well as specialty imaging for cardiac, prostate, and breast studies. The position requires the technologist to work in a fast-paced environment, handling an average of 52 patients per weekday and 27 patients per weekend.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI procedures in adherence to established protocols.
• Provide high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.
• Start IVs as needed for certain imaging studies.
• Utilize EPIC and Synapse systems for electronic medical records and image management.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other health professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT MR).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred.
• Ability to float or cover various shifts is not necessary for this role.
