ICU Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse with a strong background in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU settings. This position requires a dedicated professional with previous travel experience who is capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Assist with various medical procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required, specifically in trauma, surgical, and neurological patient care.
• Must hold an active RN license.
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory.
• Competency testing is required within 24 hours of submission.
• Epic experience is required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 48 hours per week. Please note that local candidates from ineligible counties can no longer be accepted as of January 11, 2024.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
