Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced L&D Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a day shift. This is a dynamic position that may involve floating to other units as operational needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Monitor and assess patient needs during labor and delivery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license valid in your state.
- Completion of a nursing program from an accredited institution.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Additional certifications, such as NRP or AWHONN, may be preferred.
- Minimum of one year of L&D experience preferred.
