This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with 4 ten-hour shifts, running from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role includes on-call requirements of 1-2 shifts per week, with every 3rd or 4th weekend and possible holiday call.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in Neuro and Body IR. The ideal candidate will have experience covering both vascular and neuro procedures in a fast-paced environment. This role involves monitoring and interpreting hemodynamic data, maintaining sterile techniques, and preparing patients for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring.
• Observe strict sterile technique during procedures.
• Prepare entry sites using sterile techniques.
• Continuously monitor ECG and blood pressure, documenting and alerting the physician as necessary.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and be available for emergency procedures.
• Act as part of the laboratory's code team, initiating resuscitative measures as directed.
• Document all procedures and maintain inventory control.
• Engage in educational opportunities and instruct radiography students in clinical settings.
• Maintain specialization in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
