Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment. The COTA will provide quality care and therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing therapy plans designed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities that promote rehabilitation and enhance daily living skills.
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes for the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and their caregivers throughout the therapy process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
