4x12 hour shifts, Days (07:00 - 19:00). Manager will consider 3x12s.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population within the Emergency Department. The ER RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions for patients ranging in age from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health issues and care procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic medical record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current South Carolina RN License or Compact License.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• TNCC certification preferred.
