Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Night and Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires a rotating schedule that begins with several weeks of night shifts, followed by several weeks of day shifts, returning to night shifts in September.

Job Description

As a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), you will provide essential respiratory care and administer treatment to patients in an acute care setting while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring and evaluating patients' response to therapy and making necessary adjustments.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Educating patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records within the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC.
• Valid state license to practice respiratory therapy.
