Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Operating Room RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic surgeries and possess experience with robotic surgical systems. This role involves circulating and scrubbing for various surgical procedures while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, ensuring they are appropriately positioned and cared for.
- Circulate during surgeries, providing support to the surgical team and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and reactions during procedures.
- Participate in the call rotation, covering evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the operating room.
- Experience with orthopedic procedures and robotic surgery required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS is preferred.
- Experience using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Previous travel assignments within the operating room setting preferred.
