Schedule
This position offers a 3x12 hour night shift from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates can choose between a 36 or 48-hour contract with required shifts every other weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU). This specialized unit provides care for patients requiring ventilation, respiratory assistance, and complex medical monitoring. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support patients with acute brain injuries, respiratory issues, and rehabilitation needs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions.
- Administer medications and therapies as per care plans.
- Provide respiratory care, diagnostics, and rehabilitation services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a High Intensity Care setting.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- A valid Maryland or Compact nursing license is required at the time of submission.
