Orthopedic Surgical Nurse - Days Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires a Day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, working four 10-hour shifts per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgical Nurse with a strong background in scrubbing and circulating for orthopedic spine, robot-assisted, and trauma patients. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of specialized nursing experience in this area.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic surgical patients.
• Assist in scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• National certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
