This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule is as follows:

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient care with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. The position mainly involves seeing 8-11 patients per day, which includes evaluations and follow-ups with appointment durations of 30 to 45 minutes. The therapist will also have exposure to geriatric and neurological populations and will have the opportunity for a blended role across outpatient, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to promote rehabilitation and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; alternative acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience will be considered.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
