Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will be capable of both circulating and scrubbing in the operating room, with experience in a variety of surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
- Assist with both scrubbing and circulating duties.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams across multiple specialties.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Manage equipment setup and case reviews for upcoming procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of current acute care operating room experience.
- Robotic and ENT experience required.
- Experience in ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro procedures required.
- BLS certification required.
- Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
- Charge experience preferred.
