Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 3x12-Hour, from 07:00 to 19:30, with weekend rotation and holidays as needed.

Job Description

This role involves providing care in a 30-private bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care unit, supporting patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions. The RN will be part of a team that delivers care 24/7 while ensuring that patient needs are met through effective monitoring and support.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Provide telemetry monitoring and manage pre/post cardiac catheterization care.
• Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips and procedural sedation.
• Perform tracheostomy management and assist with chest tube care.
• Work with rapid response teams as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac Progressive Care or similar unit.
• Experience with charge nursing preferred.
• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is necessary.
