Physical Therapist - Hospital-Based Outpatient and Inpatient Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday: 10-hour day
• Thursday: 10-hour day
• Friday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10-hour day
• Sunday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Off: Mondays and Wednesdays (and off by 12:00 PM on Sundays)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist for a critical access hospital to provide services in both outpatient and inpatient acute care settings. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions for patients. The role requires a collaborative approach to patient care and adherence to best practices in rehabilitation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions and adjust plans as necessary
• Document patient progress and updates
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience (REQUIRED)
• Outpatient experience (REQUIRED)
• Inpatient experience (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• Physical Therapy skills checklist (REQUIRED)
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference from the past year of employment (REQUIRED)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (REQUIRED)
• State licensure must be current and in hand at the time of submission (REQUIRED)
