Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Charge Nurse for our Neuro PCU unit. The ideal candidate must possess charge experience and expertise in a progressive care unit setting. The nurse will be responsible for overseeing unit operations during their shift, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team.
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the health care team.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR (Meditech).
- Support clinical staff in delivering quality care to patients in neuro PCU.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have valid RN licensure.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit required.
- Neuro competency is highly preferred.
