RN - Travel Obstetric Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating, primarily Nights 7 PM - 7 AM, with call required. This includes 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. A call requirement consists of three 12-hour calls in a 4-week schedule, with one of those being a weekend call. Calls must be completed within 60 minutes of arrival.

Job Description

The Obstetric Nurse (OB RN) will work in the Maternity Department, which includes Post-Partum, Nursery, and Labor & Delivery. The nurse may be required to float to Med/Surg as needed based on census.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to maternity patients.
• Monitor patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist in emergency C-sections, requiring the ability to scrub and circulate.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and nursing standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and NRP certification.
• Completion of Dysthymia course.
• AWHONN basic and intermediate fetal monitoring course certification.
• A valid RN license (state licensure required).
