This position requires a night shift, working 12-hour shifts, including every weekend. Flexibility with the schedule is required.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in High Risk Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience from a large academic setting and be capable of providing exceptional patient care in high-risk obstetric situations. The contract duration is 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health during labor and delivery.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safety and efficiency in patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license and certifications including NRP, BLS, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (equivalency), and ACLS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery.
- Experience with EPIC within the past 12 months is required.
- Must be able to explain any employment gaps over 90 days.
