Physical Therapist - 13-Week Contract Position

Day Shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans according to each patient's needs and physician direction. The PT will lead and direct therapy services for assigned patients and ensure the design of functional treatment programs that allow effective return to community activities. This includes serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient needs.
• Ensure timely documentation of patient progress and care provided.
• Participate in student program supervision and mentorship.
• Engage in professional development and advocacy efforts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• A valid and current state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is highly desired.
