Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), every third weekend, and holiday rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in both adult and pediatric critical care. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage complex respiratory care, including airway management and mechanical ventilation. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to adult and pediatric patients in a critical care setting.
• Perform respiratory assessments and interventions including medication administration and ventilation management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess evolving patient needs and respond proactively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience, with a focus on both adult and pediatric patients.
• Current and active North Carolina RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Pass Fail EKG exam is mandatory for all RNs at the facility.
