Registered Nurse - Infusion Therapy

This is a 16-week contract position. Must start by September 7th.

Schedule

8-hour shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, 40 hours per week, with no weekend requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for patients undergoing chemotherapy and biotherapy in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include administering infusion therapies and monitoring patient responses, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments as part of the outpatient care team.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with 2 years in a hematology/oncology specialty preferred.
• Outpatient clinic experience in an Infusion/Oncology setting is required.
• Must be certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
