Schedule

DAYS - 12HR: 3A-3P / 7A-7P rotation. Weekend requirement includes one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join a large, high-acuity Emergency Department with 80 treatment spaces, offering a modern environment and a focus on high-quality patient care. This team is experienced, collaborative, and supportive with strong leadership, and includes specialized geriatric emergency care as the area’s first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Support and participate in geriatric emergency care initiatives.
• Participate in continuous professional development and education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent experience in an emergency department setting.
• Active NY RN license.
• Current NIH and AHA BLS certifications.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
