Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in IMC/IICU to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with adult patients requiring intermediate and intensive care, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage adult patients with trauma, medical, surgical, and neurologic conditions.
- Provide interventions every 1-2 hours and handle acute care needs.
- Administer medications and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Utilize advanced monitoring techniques, including telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment.
- Previous IICU/ICU experience with a patient ratio of at least 1:3.
- Must hold an active SC or multistate RN license.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- 1 year of experience with EPIC charting is required.
