Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, managing patient care effectively, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions in high-stress situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform triage for incoming patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Support locked Behavioral Health units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department experience required; 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience may be considered.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Must hold a valid Maryland or Compact RN license upon submission.
