Cath Lab Tech - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Available shifts are 3x12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) or 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) with on-call scheduling requirements.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Set up and maintain equipment in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, including recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Assist with implant procedures and manage sterile fields.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent/strong Cath Lab experience required; will accept first-time travelers.
• Licensure: ARRT-R and/or RCIS accepted.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage for approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekends within a 6-week schedule.
