Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures for diagnostic purposes.
- Recognize normal and pathological features in sonograms.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a specialized training program in Ultrasonic Technology preferred.
- One year of experience performing ultrasound procedures preferred.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required upon hire/transfer.
- Registered in OB/GYN with RDMS within one year of hire/transfer.
- Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
Schedule
This position operates on a day shift, Monday through Friday.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
