Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The unit is equipped with 16 beds and supported by a dedicated staff, offering a collaborative working environment with an emphasis on exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals in the PCU.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff members, including RNs and PCTs.
- Document patient information and care in the collaborative EMR system (Meditech).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
- Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or telemetry is a plus.
