Job Description
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team on a night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a 12-bed unit with a patient ratio of 2:1. The nurse will demonstrate proficiency in managing labor and delivery situations, including the circulation of C-sections.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care and labor delivery processes.
- Perform circulatory duties during C-sections.
- Monitor patient vitals and responses during labor.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Document patient information accurately using Meditech.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRPFM certifications.
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
- AWHONN certification preferred.
- Experience with Meditech is a plus.
