Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in emergency medicine and possess the essential certifications required for high-quality patient care. This position requires an RN who is comfortable handling a diverse patient population from newborns to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and triage utilizing ESI triage scale.
- Administer medications and IV therapies according to established protocols.
- Perform EKGs and restraint application as needed.
- Facilitate procedural sedation and transports via ambulance.
- Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers for comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the Emergency Department required.
- At least 1 completed travel contract.
- Active RN license and BLS certification required.
- ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NRP, and NIHSS certifications are required prior to start.
- Epic experience within the last 2 years is mandatory.
