Night shift, 3x12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), requiring every other weekend availability.
Job Description
The Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN) will provide care for patients requiring monitoring and telemetry services. This is a new unit currently under development, with opportunities to contribute to the establishment of best practices in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients on a telemetry unit.
- Monitor vital signs and respond to telemetric data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Float within the facility as needed to meet patient care requirements.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience required.
- Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
- Experience with telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of cardiac tele patients is essential.
