Outpatient Physical Therapist Contract Position

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients. This role includes managing the delivery of therapy services in alignment with patient needs, physician guidance, and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to create and modify treatment plans focused on safe and effective return to community activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical record documentation compliant with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Oversee therapy services and ensure they align with physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs and provide mentorship during their training.
• Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical standards and licensing requirements.
• Understand and contribute to the organization’s performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid physical therapy license in good standing.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule with flexible hours to accommodate patient needs.

Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position.
