Job Description

The Travel Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in a Medical-Surgical 2S Stroke Unit. The RN will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from strokes and other medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stroke unit
Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care plans
Educate patients and their families regarding post-stroke care and management
Perform assessments and document patient progress accurately

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Florida state or multistate RN license
BLS certification
NIHSS certification
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med-Surg nursing with stroke care experience
