Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with expertise in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in cardiac surgery, with a preference for those with pediatric-specific experience. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures and ensuring the operating room is set up and functioning optimally.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team by preparing and maintaining the operating room environment.
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgical procedures.
- Perform tasks related to patient care within the surgical setting.
- Respond quickly to the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO cannulation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- CST Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac surgery.
- Pediatric cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred; adult CT surgery experience accepted.
- Experience with cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO cannulation is required.
- Valid State License (Single State OH or Multi State License required).
