Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our acute rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will provide specialized treatment for individuals recovering from severe injuries or illnesses, ensuring a tailored approach to care that maximizes health, function, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from various conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, and other medical complexities.
- Perform acute care IV starts, manage feeding tubes, and wound care as required.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress using the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Assist in creating a supportive environment that prioritizes patient-focused care and high customer service.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of Florida.
- CNA certification preferred but not required.
- Experience in acute care settings required; rehabilitation experience is a plus.
