Outpatient Physical Therapist

This position follows a 5x8.0 shift schedule.

Job Description

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate assigned patients, develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patients’ needs, goals, and physician directives. You will oversee all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs aimed at facilitating a return to community activities. You will also serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers while adhering to compliance standards, including patient confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create tailored treatment plans.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and timely.
• Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and feedback.
• Engage in professional development and maintain licensure.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives within the organization.
• Uphold safety standards for patients and employees, adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Maintaining professional licensure in good standing is required.
