Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a generalist with a strong confidence in medical diagnoses and the ability to effectively manage patients requiring moderate to maximum assistance. This role will include co-treatment sessions and the flexibility to handle additional evaluations throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and assist patients with mobility and functional independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, goals, and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current license in the state of Arizona.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of relevant experience in acute care settings is required.
• Experience working with patients on ventilators and those requiring significant mobility assistance.
