Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

Schedule

This position involves 12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

The Critical Care Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The unit consists of 20 beds, accommodating a patient population that includes approximately 30-50% COVID patients, alongside individuals with cardiac issues, post-angioplasty care, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and complex surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critical care patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience in a critical care environment is preferred.
• Open to candidates without EPIC experience.
